Chapter 92

¹ The Lord hath reigned, he is clothed with beauty: the Lord is clothed with strength, and hath girded himself. For he hath established the world which shall not be moved.
² Thy throne is prepared from of old: thou art from everlasting.
³ The floods have lifted up, O Lord: the floods have lifted up their voice. The floods have lifted up their waves,
⁴ with the noise of many waters. Wonderful are the surges of the sea: wonderful is the Lord on high.

Chapter 92

¹ A Psalm or Song for the sabbath day. It is a good thing to give thanks to the LORD, and to sing praises to thy name, O Most High.
² To show forth thy loving-kindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night.
³ Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound.
⁴ For thou, LORD, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.
⁵ O LORD, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep.
⁶ A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this.
⁷ When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed for ever:
⁸ But thou, LORD, art most high for evermore.
⁹ For lo, thy enemies, O LORD, for lo, thy enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.
¹⁰ But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.
¹¹ My eye also shall see my desire on my enemies, and my ears shall hear my desire of the wicked that rise up against me.
¹² The righteous shall flourish like the palm-tree; he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

² To make clear your mercy in the morning, and your unchanging faith every night;
³ On a ten-corded instrument, and on an instrument of music with a quiet sound.
⁴ For you, O Lord, have made me glad through your work; I will have joy in the works of your hands.
⁵ O Lord, how great are your works! and your thoughts are very deep.
⁶ A man without sense has no knowledge of this; and a foolish man may not take it in.
⁷ When the sinners come up like the grass, and all the workers of evil do well for themselves, it is so that their end may be eternal destruction.

¹² The good man will be like a tall tree in his strength; his growth will be as the wide-stretching trees of Lebanon.
¹³ Those who are planted in the house of the Lord will come up tall and strong in his gardens.
¹⁴ They will give fruit even when they are old; they will be fertile and full of growth;
¹⁵ For a sign that the Lord is upright; he is my Rock, there is no deceit in him.
